Thanks for taking some time to look a little farther into our ministry here
at FBC. As you begin, let me take a few moments to share with you a little
about myself as the pastor at FBC. I was born and raised in Denver,
Colorado and loved living in the Mile High City. It was during my Junior
High years that I came to understand what it meant to put my faith and trust in
Jesus as my Savior and then during high school God began to talk to my heart
about full time ministry.
I attended Moody Bible Institute in the windy city of Chicago for three years
and continued my education at Western Bible College in Colorado and have
recently done some work on my Master's Degree. I have been married to my
sweetheart and girlfriend for almost 28 years and we are privileged to have four
great children.
One of my passions in life is tennis. I have been playing, coaching and
teaching for over 30 years now and it just seems to keep getting better. I
also referee basketball in the Northern California Officials Association and
love to travel and spend time with my wife.
But when you boil it all down to what is really important, for me it is really
pretty simple. I want to see people come to know Jesus as their Savior.
I want them to see that The Bible is God's map for life and is practical and
relevant for their family, their job, their finances, and their future.
Feel free to stop in anytime...maybe we could even hit my favorite Mexican
restaurant, "Jose's" for lunch.
